DOA 7088,  "Cornerstone"

This pretty yearling ram was the Junior Champion Ram at the National Oxford Show & Sale in 2007.  He is the maternal brother to the 2007 National Grand Champion Oxford Ewe and was sired by "Main Event"  the 2006 and 2007 National Grand Champion Ram. Cornerstone's lambs look sensational and good genetics are truly breeding on through him. He measures 38.5 inches tall at a year old with plenty of gas left in the tank to reach 40''.  We think he is something special.

The 2006 & 2007 National Grand Champion Oxford Ram.  This ram is huge and has tons of bone and depth of rib.  I am leasing him for my Spring 2009 lamb crop.  Everyone who has seen him thus far understands why I am soooooooo excited to have him on my farm.

"PaRRadigm" x "Cyclops"

(Owned jointly with Double "O" Acres and Everett's Oxfords)

Believe it or not, this ram was shown in the National Show and did not make the sale order.  I am sure if the judge saw him today, he would have found the top of the class. He was Grand Champion ram at the Allentown Fair in Pennsylvania and was named Supreme Champion Ram.  If you are not familiar with this show, it draws over 200 sheep from some of the east coast's finest flocks.  This ram is super correct and has great bone.  "Makers Mark" carries tremendous muscling and has length of body to boot, and excellent BREED CHARACTER.  We will be taking possession of him after NAILE as a yearling.

If you are not yet familiar with Houghtaling Oxfords, you better take notice.  We are committed to breeding top quality Oxfords by using the best rams the breed has to offer.  I am not afraid to talk breeders best stud rams off their hands if they are willing to part with them.  Working very closely with several seasoned Oxford breeders has helped to propel our  program into overdrive.  If you are looking for top quality, than look no further.  Our stud stock is sure to make a splash very soon within the breed and you better make plans to get on board before everyone else catches on.

This ram show the most promise of any of my coming yearlings, both Hampshire and Oxford.  He stands an inch smaller than my biggerst Hampshire ram of the same age, but 3 inches higher at the head.  If you like neck extension, he will catch your eye.
